Optometrist
Dr. Todd Hartman received his undergraduate degrees Biology and Chemistry from Oregon State University. He received his doctor of optometry degree from Pacific University College of Optometry. His clinical training includes externship rotations at Portland Medical Center, Tyndall Air Force Hospital, Crystal Vision Eye Institute, and the Spark M. Matsunaga Vetrans Hospital. Dr. Hartman was then chosen for and completed a post graduate residency in Ocular Disease, Refractive and Ocular Surgery with Eye Care Associates of Nevada where he gained extensive experience managing patients who had undergone Lasik, Cataract, Glaucoma and various other ocular surgeries.
After residency Dr. Hartman was in private practice in Colorado for several years prior to returning to Nevada where he was the Clinical Director and Medical Optometrist of Eye Care Associates of Nevada. While there he trained numerous students and residents over the next 5 years and served as an adjunct clinical professor to Pacific University College of Optometry. Dr. Hartman has served as a clinical investigator in numerous FDA phase three clinical trials and has lectured both locally and around the country.
Dr. Hartman is board certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease, he is additionally certified in the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma. Dr. Hartman practices complete eye care, ranging all the way from pediatric to geriatric patients, ocular emergencies and trauma and both acute and chronic ocular disease. Dr. Hartman additionally focuses on contact lens fitting for difficult to fit corneas including Keratoconus, Pellucid Marginal Degeneration, and Post Refractive Ectasias.
Dr. Hartman is a longtime member of both the Nevada Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. Dr. Hartman is very active both in his profession and his local community. Dr. Hartman is currently accepting new patients at both his Centennial Center/Ann road and His Centennial Hills locations.
